A Happy New Year to all our followers! I hope we all have a great 2012!

So now that we start into a new year we have a wonderful new star-guest at The Show - it's the peerless 

Humphrey Bogart!

For Monty chose our first guest  - the wonderful and dashing Errol Flynn (who had a great month here if I may say so..) - it's now my turn to choose a star and I decided to go with Mr. Bogart - for he is kind of a contrast to Errol "The Smirk" Flynn - and also he had his birthday not so long ago on December 25th.. 

So please prepare yourself for a month filled with all about "Bogie".. And those of you who are more interested in his 4th (and final) wife: Lauren Bacall is this month's Classic Movie Goddess at Monty's blog ALL GOOD THINGS! (just saying..)

Welcome to the show!

Once upon a time...

...an American blogger met an European bloggerette – they both loved films with all their heart. They immediately became good friends and did some festivals and series together on their separate blogs.

Both of them had very much fun doing this series and festivals together – and then one day the European bloggerette worked up the courage to ask the American blogger to do a blog together, because all the ideas both of them brought up needed a place of their own..

He agreed - and this was the moment LET THE SHOW BEGIN arised, where Monty Hawes of ALL GOOD THINGS and Irene Palfy of AND THEN THEY START TO SPARKLE will post together and have as much fun as possible – hopefully to the delight of their audience..

So their followers will see immediately who of both bloggers wrote a post Monty and Irene decided to add signature pictures: Monty will sign his posts with Cary Grant pictures – and Irene chose Judy Garland as her alter ego..

Presumably every two weeks the main star respectively main topic of this blog will change - it's all in the beginning..

For the first two weeks Errol Flynn will be the main star at LET THE SHOW BEGIN..

– and then?

Who knows..

Everything is possible..
